An educational institution named “The SEED Plan”, I have been providing holistic education for more than 300 students of downtrodden and suffering village people every year. Hence 169 under graduates, 51 post graduates and 3 research students have finished their studies. More than 600 students have finished schools and gone to colleges. Moreover, downtrodden and unaffordable kids and orphans have been sponsored and given education.

I am doing researches about the people who work in the graveyard and mortuary. I enquire and learn about the grave digger life and their family mentality and the difficulties they face in the society. I am helping them personally. I am conducting summer camps for the tribal people’s children. Teaching culture, art, politics, sports and cinema to variety of children is my passion and I am doing it whole heartedly. Many children are getting to know their skills and achieving in many fields. I am creating young writers as well. My students have released 5 books till now.

To ensure that the children don’t go in the wrong path or involve in any evil activities, I am conducting” Police boys and girls club” with the support of tamilnadu police. we teach skill based trainings and activities are held.

School studies and weekend games, reading practices, handwriting practices, personality development, effective communication, soft skills, cultural classes, art things making are conducted by me which brings out the brighter side of the kids.

I always tell my students that, Education lies not only in the study books but in achieving goals in variety of fields. Moreover, I am conducting self employment training for women and youngsters, studies related training for students, awareness on government laws and schemes, street play workshops.

I got second place in higher secondary examination in Tamilnadu. Likewise, I dedicate myself to train the slum children in achieve high places and see the brighter side of the world in their life.

SEED Plan is learning and growing children’s organization. SEED gives a chance to come up in their education for bright future. In Madurai, SEED has been working for socially and economically backward area students. SEED tries to create a vibrant study environment through learning centers. SEED is a self sustaining project because most of its teachers are its own students.

SEED has been working under three themes, social Gathering (programs like celebrating all religious festivals, bringing the idea of non-sectarianism in the young minds). Participation with fun and learning (programs like sports practice and meets, camps, Treasure Hunt and other learning games, art and dance) and enriching their academic learning ( thematic science and social science workshop, seminars, evening tuition classes, weekend reading hour and spoken English classes).

Resume of the Activities  

• Extending Learning centre’s in rural areas and other disadvantage areas in the south tamilnadu.
• Opening up of carrier counseling and guidance centre for board exam students and youths.
• Spreading awareness on early childhood education, elementary education and education for all.
• Supporting girl children for higher education to protect them from early marriages.
• Extending financial support to many students who are in need for their higher education.
• Preparing teaching and learning materials for the students’ learning in local context and preparing the materials on the basis of the students’ and teachers’ need.
• Conducing training sessions for college students for teaching in government schools to help the government schools’ (in the working area) Teacher people ratio to support quality education for all.
• Organizing training program for spoken English, computer skills,treeplantation
• Conducing special and focused workshops, field trips, seminars, camps on History, Science, Social science topics to motivate, giving clear ideas, helping the students’ in learning and knowing about the current research and higher education opportunities in the specified fields.
• Conducting programs on nutrition, Sports meet, Art camps, Group work activities to ensure well-rounded holistic education for the disadvantaged children. 
• Support education for tribal children who dropout or refuse to go to school
• Provide free legal aid, advocacy and lobbying those who need from our working area
• Create awareness on government schemes and plans through street play and classes
• Increase government school admissions in rural areas
• Provide free counseling and de addiction awareness in slum areas 

I strongly believe that, Education and students can make tremendous change in the entire society. It will surely bring many chain based changes in the disadvantages areas.
